The project

The project “In-Orchestra” is a strategic partnership to support innovations financed by Erasmus. The project aims to develop innovative results and pursuing an activity of dissemination and enhancement of a "multi-ART NETWORK", which includes educational pathways such as musical-orchestral (Italy), Artistic-multimedia (France) and theatrical-body (Turkey) designed for mentally handicapped students.

This partnership includes the Fiesole Music School Foundation (IT), the Sequeri Exagram Foundation (IT), the Spazio Reale Foundation (IT), the Center de la Gabrielle-MFPass (FR) and the Usak University (Tur) for the duration of 3 years.

The project was born from involved partners in a lifetime of experience drawn up on the basis of the idea that the guarantee of the effective education and training rights is one of the most important things that affects the world of disabled people and influences their full integration and inclusion in social and working life.

The recipients are children and young people with mental moderate/serious disabilities, generated (or complicated) by organic brain-damages and occurrences of psychotic type. The age group concerned by the educational path can not be determined with chronological accuracy both for the type of disability and variables that influences the successful involvement in the offered path. Generally, the project is addressed to students within an arc of the average primary and secondary school.
